The Okotoks & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 11th Annual SERVICE EXCELLENCE AWARDS. The Awards will recognize service individuals that have exceeded expectations and “have gone above and beyond” by providing exceptional customer service. The Okotoks & District Chamber of Commerce will honour the winners at our Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

Nomination forms: For your convenience you can fill out the nomination form on-line. Nomination forms are also available at the Chamber office located at 14 McRae St. in Okotoks (The Stockton Building) former home of the Town of Okotoks, on our website and via email at office@okotokschamber.ca. Everyone is eligible: Please take the time to nominate your favorite service provider so they can be publicly recognized and appreciated by their community.

Judging: Will be done by an independent panel representing a broad range of experiences and expertise. Criteria for choosing the winners will be based upon the nominee’s commitment to outstanding customer service. Consideration will also be given for their contribution to the workplace, proficient job skills, leadership skills, positive role modeling, attitude, teamwork and community spirit, therefore the comprehensiveness of the submission for the judges’ review should be thorough.

Submission deadline is Tuesday, October 1st, 2013.

Recognition: All nominees will be notified of their nomination (the nominator is kept confidential) and recognized at the Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, October 16th, 2013 at the Foothills Centennial Centre.

 

 

Notes for Events

Our venues are subject to change, we will ensure that updated information is posted in our Chamber Newsletter, on this website and in the Western Wheel.

When e-mails are sent to members, it would be appreciated if you would respond with either:

Yes. - I will be attending. or
No. - I cannot attend before the deadline.

This makes it a lot easier for counting the numbers of attendees.

It is important to recognize that if you confirm attendance for the meeting and you do not keep the reservation you will be invoiced as a no-show and you will need to settle this amount before the next meeting. We get charged on the number given, not on the number attending.

You are encouraged to invite and bring guests to our meetings and please remember that the above applies to no-shows.
